Congratulations on your purchase. Enjoy your zip file.

Nightblue is one library for all the music you've bought — Bandcamp, label stores, artist websites, anywhere. It all just streams, on every device. No unzipping, no folders, no home server. Buy it once, play it forever.

Free for your collection. Lossless in, lossless out, leave whenever. It's your music — that's the whole point.

SIDE A — how it works

  1. 01

    Hand over the zips.

Sync your Bandcamp collection, upload a folder, drop in exports from anywhere you've bought music.

  2. 02

We turn them back into a collection.

Proper tags, artwork, gapless playback. Lossless stays lossless.

  3. 03

    You press play.

On your phone, your laptop, your speakers. That's it — that's the product.

SIDE B — why this exists

Buying music directly is the best way to support an artist. It's also the worst way to listen.

Every artist or label you buy from is another download, another folder, another place your collection isn't. The people who pay musicians the most get the clunkiest listening experience in music — and the people who pay them the least get the smoothest.

Streaming solved listening and broke paying. Direct sales fixed paying and broke listening. Someone has to hold both ends.

LINER NOTES

Is this legal?

Yes. You're streaming your own purchased files, from your own private library, to yourself. And when stores connect to us directly, delivery is authorised by the artist or label at the point of sale.

Do I keep my files?

Always. Full-quality export, one click, no guilt trip. This is a home for your collection, not a trap.

What does it cost?

Right now: nothing. Eventually: a small subscription for the library. We will never take a cut of what you pay artists — that's between you and them, and it should stay that way.

I already do this with my own media server.

Respect — you're proof the demand is real. This is for everyone who'd rather not run a server to listen to music they paid for.

What about new purchases?

Where this is going: stores connect, you hit buy, and the album is in your library before the confirmation email arrives. No download step at all.
